A couple years back, one of mine listed one of my favorite things as DADDY BICYCLE BEER.
It was because Fat Tire had a memorable logo to them. And it’s weird because I’ve bough Fat Tire 3 or 4 times in my life...
No message from teacher. She was probably like “yeah that explains a lot” (daddy has some DUIs and rides a bike)

That narc-out effort would not have gone well in my house, even after the confusion was settled.

Yup, this is pretty amazing. I love these things from the kids on Father’s day, and can’t wait to see mine.
The DVD comment is just amazing, though. Really, all of it.

I think GTA V is probably worse than most “girl in bathing suit” TV shows

Good at the act of, or going to?

Mine is 12 now. She’d write something like that on purpose.

yea, they dont see that part of it though. the most i’ve let them do is drive the car. for the most part they try to obey traffic laws and not kill people. And they certainly dont go online with it.

Texas, no basements. :((

A real punishment* is having to sleep in the attic!
*could lead to actual death

so where are all your mechanical related items like a water heater. do you even have a furnace?
![]() 06/15/2018 at 15:56 |

“Don’t try this at home” never applied more than in this case.

I live in SC and we don’t have basements either. All that stuff’s in the garage. Also, what’s a furnace?

Ontario resident here with no basement or garage!
My furnace is bolted to the roof of the crawlspace/main level floor. My water heater is tucked away in a closet behind the main floor half-bath!
Also, would not put child in crawlspace. Would likely get eaten by spooky spiders.

That’s also one of my favourite TV shows!
Steam doesn’t give me a nifty DVD though :(

Did your child actually write that?

No

There aren’t basements (for the most part) in the desert southwest, either. The mechanical stuff like the water heater and furnace are usually in the garage. Sometimes they will be in a utility closet inside the house on newer construction.
